| 1981 | A shareholder of Swiss RE, La Suisse Turkey General Representative, which was founded in 1926, started to carry on business as Avrupa Sigorta Aracılığı A.Ş. |
| 1988 | Because laws regulating the insurance businesses changed, the corporation was founded again as İsviçre Sigorta A.Ş. by Avrupa Holding and Swiss RE. The portfolio of La Suisse General Representative was handed over to İsviçre Sigorta A.Ş. |
| 1995 | Renamed İsviçre Hayat A.Ş. to operate in the areas of health and life insurance, the company's partnership with Swiss RE continued until 2006. |
| 2006 | Ergo International AG, of which majority interest is owned by Munich Re, signed a partnership agreement with Avrupa Holding and took over 75 percent of the shares in the Group's insurance company. The new company was named ERGOİSVİÇRE. |
| 2008 | Avrupa Holding transferred the remaining 25 percent of the shares to ERGO Insurance Group. Hence, ERGOİSVİÇRE Sigorta became a part of ERGO International AG. |
| 2010 | The company title is renamed as ERGO with the rebranding activities. |
